The Seeker’s India will

published as ‘Seeking the Master in 1980 (now
out of print) has been the trustworthy bible of India-bound
seekers for the last twenty years and was known fondly as ‘The
Five-star Guru-Guide.’ The new updated edition, presently being
rewritten, will list over 300 Ashrams, Monasteries, Temples, Spiritual
and Cultural Centres and make available a wide range of both famous
and little known Gurus and Soul-Guides of all kinds from many traditions.
Also, importantly, it gives precise details of how to find them.
And answers all the questions the seeker needs to know on the
material plane and clarifies many issues on the inner levels.
It is also an encyclopaedic cornucopia of contemporary
Indian spirituality, including potted histories of all the major
Gurus and cults with a distillation of their teachings, plus articles
on Choosing a Guru, Warnings to the Unwary, the Ashram Tradition,
Diet and Health Hints, Hindu Gods, Maps, Geographical and Historical
information and a Hindu-Sanskrit Glossary. In short—this
is a Spiritual Survival Guide no inner traveller to the East
can afford to go without.
